With support from the NFL Foundation and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Kindland is proud to present its Kickoff for Kindness video presentation to 900 schools and 273,000 students across the country on February 6th before Super Bowl weekend.

Provided free to schools, the inspiring video presentation, which is introduced by student broadcasters, encourages students to lead with compassion, empathy, and kindness while being inspired by NFL & Pro-Football Hall of Fame players’ kindness stories, positive peer messages, and more. It features stories from several players from the NFL and Pro Football Hall of Fame including current New York Giants’ wide receiver Darius Slayton and his work with the Far Rockaway, Harlem, and Bronx Giants program with the New York City Police Foundation.

“Hearing these inspiring stories motivates the kids to think about the importance of kindness in their own lives. All schools are encouraged to show the video on February 6 so that students feel united in working toward one common goal - treating one another with kindness, caring and respect,” said Stuart Muszynski, CEO and Founder of Values-in-Action Foundation.

Schools pre-registered for the presentation at www.BEKINDLAND.com and can fit the video into a viewing schedule that works best for their schedules.

As part of Kickoff for Kindness, Kindland also hosted a nationwide video contest that challenged students ages 12-19 to create a video that conveys the power of kindness. The winning video is featured in the 40-minute school presentation. The contest’s Grand Prize winner Mary McMahon of Mentor, Ohio received two tickets to the Super Bowl courtesy of the NFL Foundation. Watch Mary’s video HERE

The kindness will continue after February 6th as Kindland launches its 2025 Kindness Games - a national competition to see which schools to post the most acts of kindness from February 17 – April 18th.

“The Kindness Games are important because they heighten student and staff awareness to the importance of kindness and the positive impact it can have on their schools,” added Mr. Muszynski.

Schools have the opportunity to win cash prizes of $5,000, $2,500 or $1,000 for first, second, and third places, respectively, in each of the following grade categories: K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Schools can register to participate at BeKindland.com.
